Due to unforeseen circumstances x2b racing will not be talking part in any events this year.
This situation may change, check back for updates.
About me
My name is Tim Bullard, and I am the joint partner in X2B Motorsport. I take responsibility
for the racing aspect of the team.I grew up in a small town called Bideford in North
Devon, and return there to relax over holiday periods. I find the countryside and coastline
tranquil and relaxing, and realise I have been priveliged to have grown up in such
beautiful surroundings.
I am a second year student at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston, currently studying
for a BSc in Motorsports Operations.During the motorsport season of 2007 I have been lucky
enough to have been part of the University's racing team. The university takes part in
the North West Formula Ford 1600 championship, with 2 cars. My responsibilities during
the past year have been to ensure the general running of a Reynard SF89, driven by Stuart
Jones. This included some mechanic work, but mostly pit wall and timing duties, along with
other various tasks along the operations side of things. We finished the championship a
close second, which for my first season being truly involved in motorsport has been a fantastic
experience. We experienced many highs, such as winning our first ever race, and claiming several podiums
throughout the year, and many lows such as DNFs and mechanical failures. This I believe has
set me up perfectly for racing myself during the 2008 season, as I know some of the ins
and outs of British Club Motorsport.
My teammates from the 2007 season ( Myself far right )
I will be racing a 1994 Ford Fiesta XR2i with a 2 litre Mondeo engine. I will be
concentrating mostly on the BRSCC Ford Saloon Car Championship, however I will attempt to
race in select events from other championships in the North West. My main aim for my first
year as a racing driver is to finish events. I remember the saying "To finish first, first
you must finish", and by sticking to this I hope to also pick up some class podiums, and
hopefully some good overall results.
